Sometimes the best moment is this one right now.
What are you thinking about?
I've almost finished updating a little series I created a few years ago for my newsletter. This time, a colourful little e-book is on the way. Can't wait to share it soon!
Two beautiful things I can see right now: (1) a set of shelves by my desk - full of books and my daughters' artwork, (2) big, fluffy snowflakes outside my window. One beautiful thing I can imagine: the ocean - a particular stretch of the North Atlantic held in my imagination until I get to see it again.

A counterpoint to Monday's prompt. Because there's also a lot of good out there.
Right now, I feel so lucky to open my inbox and social media feeds and find them filled with amazing people who use their voices and talents to lift others up. It's never been so easy to connect with people all over the world, to find people who cheer us on, who give us a sense of belonging to something bigger, who inspire and teach us, and with whom we can join to bring about positive change.
What's your one good thing?
I loved this one. Right up until it was time to post it. And then it felt really scary. All of a sudden, I felt ill-equipped to follow through on the prompt. Then I remembered that I live here, too. Why not give it a try? Here goes.
I'd like to see a kinder, gentler world. More listening, more sharing, more acceptance. Less judgment, less win-lose. All works in progress for me. (And the world.)
How about you? What if it were up to you? What if it IS up to you? What would you like to change about the world?
Ending the week with commitment and perseverance. And pink. And slightly wonky camera angles. And the long haul, which to me means sticking with it, persisting past the false starts and the wrong turns and the setbacks. Because whatever your thing is, it's worth it. And so are you.
What's one of your things?
We use our imagination for so many things -- to create, design, plan, communicate, dream, and contribute; to bring our ideas to life. How are you using yours today?

What's on your mind?
This one makes me think about food. I'd definitely rather make chocolate chip cookies than buy them and I'd rather buy puff pastry than make it. Outside of food ... hmm. That'll take a little more thinking. Here's one: I'd rather make my own little photo studio with white foam board and a window than buy a photo light box (even though I sometimes lose a day to overcast skies) and I'd rather buy (or subscribe to) an editable website template than make my own.
How about you? What would you rather make than buy and vice versa?
